About Fwiz

I’m Ryan Wyatt. I grew up in the Akron-Cleveland area of Ohio and have loved video games and technology for as long as I can remember. From the moment I realized I could easily beat my older siblings in Mario Brothers and Duck Hunt, I knew video gaming was a passion of mine.

I grew up playing every game I could get my hands on. From console to PC, I drove my family nuts utilizing our dial-up internet too often to play games like Doom. For those of you who remember what dial-up was like, that noise is still a very nostalgic sound, and my gaming resulted in our family needing a second phone line. Although we are all very happy the internet speeds have changed over the past decade and virtually eliminated the need for a land line at all. Gotta love technology.

I attended The Ohio State University with a focus in Communication Management. I became involved with Major League Gaming in 2008 as the Head of Online Tournaments, which also introduced me to my new love of Shoutcasting.

From 2011-2014, I was the Head of Live and eSports with Machinima. I was a proud employee of Machinima, a company serving more than 2.4 billion monthly video views and reaching over 200 million uniques each month!

Currently residing in Santa Monica, I have returned to where I got my start and am now the VP of Programming for Major League Gaming (MLG). MLG operates MLG.tv, the #1 online broadcast network for professional level competitive gaming; the MLG Pro Circuit, the longest-running eSports league in North America; and MLG Play, the largest cross platform online gaming tournament system with 9 million registered users across the globe.

My work is my passion. When I’m not working, I’m playing video games when I can. Or cooking. F is for Food. And when I’m gaming, I love streaming with my viewers. It’s my favorite way to connect with fans and friends. I stream for fun. I work a lot, so I’ll be the first to say that I’m not good at video games anymore, but I still love them.

The website was created for the fans. It’s a way to bring all of my worlds together. I hope you enjoy. Let’s have some fun! Thanks for stopping by Fwiz.tv!
